Fixed toilets, fresh and grey water systems, plumbing and inspection preparation—integrated cleanly into your campervan, motorhome or caravan.
START WITH THE VEHICLE
A good self-containment upgrade must meet the relevant requirements while preserving practical seating, storage and day-to-day access. The answer is rarely a collection of components added wherever they happen to fit.
We assess the vehicle, intended occupants and existing installation, then plan the toilet, tanks, plumbing, emptying points and cabinetry as one usable system.

SELF-CONTAINMENT SOLUTIONS
Each part must be usable, secure and compatible with the vehicle around it. We design the upgrade from the required outcome backwards.

DESIGNED AROUND THE VEHICLE
The right scope depends on what is already fitted, the space available and how the vehicle will be used.
We assess the toilet, water storage, plumbing and access, then recommend the work required before inspection.
Self-containment is designed with the furniture and services from the beginning, protecting valuable living and storage space.
Serviceable installations, clear operating points and practical layouts support reliable day-to-day fleet operation.
A CLEAR, GUIDED APPROACH
Tell us the vehicle, current warrant status, toilet type, tank setup, occupants and desired timing.
We inspect the available space, existing installation, access, pipework and likely upgrade scope.
You receive a proposed solution and quote before any agreed work begins.
The system is installed or corrected, secured, checked for operation and prepared for inspection.
We explain the next step and coordinate or refer the certification inspection as appropriate.
BUILT FOR USE AFTER INSPECTION
Tanks and plumbing live in a moving vehicle. Good restraint, reliable fittings, sensible drainage and future access are as important as making the installation fit.

NEW ZEALAND SELF-CONTAINMENT
Current requirements include a toilet that is permanently fixed and usable within the vehicle, together with suitable water and waste systems. Final certification is completed through an authorised certification authority following inspection.
Elite RV can assess and complete the agreed vehicle work, explain what happens next, and coordinate or refer the appropriate inspection pathway. Certification outcome remains subject to the authorised inspection.

PRACTICAL ANSWERS
Every vehicle begins in a different place. These are the questions that usually establish the most practical next step.
Under the current New Zealand certification system, the toilet must be permanently fixed, usable within the vehicle and connected to a suitable blackwater tank or removable cassette. We first confirm what is practical for your layout.
Often, yes—but space, access, tank capacity and a genuinely usable fixed-toilet position must all be considered. A vehicle assessment is the best way to establish a realistic solution.
We can assess the existing toilet, tanks, sink, plumbing and ventilation, identify what needs to change, and quote the upgrade work required before the relevant inspection.
The warrant is issued through an authorised self-containment certification authority following the required inspection. Elite RV completes the agreed vehicle work and can help coordinate or refer the inspection pathway.
Cost depends on the vehicle, present installation, tank and toilet requirements, access, cabinetry changes and inspection preparation. We assess and quote the agreed scope before work begins.
Please include the vehicle make and model, current certificate or warrant status, intended occupants, preferred timing, and clear photos of the toilet, sink, tanks, plumbing and available installation space.
