Prepare the vehicle for the current green-warrant system.
Current requirements include a toilet that is permanently fixed and usable within the vehicle, together with suitable water and waste systems. Final certification is completed through an authorised certification authority following inspection.

Every vehicle begins in a different place. These are the questions that usually establish the most practical next step.
Does a self-contained vehicle need a fixed toilet?
Under the current New Zealand certification system, the toilet must be permanently fixed, usable within the vehicle and connected to a suitable blackwater tank or removable cassette. We first confirm what is practical for your layout.
Can a small campervan still become self-contained?
Often, yes—but space, access, tank capacity and a genuinely usable fixed-toilet position must all be considered. A vehicle assessment is the best way to establish a realistic solution.
Can you upgrade an older blue-warrant setup?
We can assess the existing toilet, tanks, sink, plumbing and ventilation, identify what needs to change, and quote the upgrade work required before the relevant inspection.
Do you issue the green self-containment warrant?
The warrant is issued through an authorised self-containment certification authority following the required inspection. Elite RV completes the agreed vehicle work and can help coordinate or refer the inspection pathway.
How much will an upgrade cost?
